When the Mind and Heart are in Conflict

95958326_10158069109116421_4201551881866051584_o.jpg

It takes significant practise to sit with ourselves when conflict comes up. We have been so habituated to numb and suppress by placing things in our mouths to allow the other senses to take over. Either eat, drink, smoke something, these all have an impact on the liver, Yes, even smoking.
Tears have been significant for me to be able to sit in the conflict when the mind and heart meet up with different challenges.
Kindness has allowed me to accept the "I do not know" and allow myself to be empowered with this statement.
The mind wants to control so much while the heart can be giving and free.
Meditation assists in allowing the inner conflict to be transcended and alchemized into wisdom.

This is the development of self-awareness, acceptance and going through it.

Sit with the discomfort and observe the waves do not become involved with them, simply observe them till you reach a space of emptiness and clarity.
This statement is not easy to apply yet as simple as it may sound; there is significant power.

You need your liver for energy and health; please do not damage the filter.

Just Begin

93835245_10157994847996421_1477935183272345600_o.jpg

To find new possibilities requires that you take the first step in doing something different and to begin something new can feel overwhelmingly scary. You have the courage within you to enter into that fear and use it's energy to activate those steps. Dare to begin over and over again.
New possibilities are within your reach daily it's for you to take those steps towards them.
Just Begin.

Surrender

93950660_10157991363951421_6271180674871328768_o.jpg

Surrender with feeling the fragility of life and having reverence from the pain of it. Tears are a gentle method to release all the overwhelming energy in the psyche. Having your heart open will invoke tears to flow, nurturing the awareness to remain awake and not fall into the slumber sleep of denial.

Profound Awakening can feel brutal because you have to see all that you have allowed and how small you have been playing. You have to love the rage that comes up from soaking in blame and judgement of wanting the story to be different.

Be aware of the cunning tricks of inner conflict the mind uses with time; It will want this awareness to judge the past luring you in thinking you could see while projecting all the possibilities of pain in the future.

Be loving-kindness when fear of uncertainty comes up as the mind can throw the most fearful thoughts in a method of protection. When tears need to flow, let them run free and liberate an open space.

Check-In

”With power comes great responsibility!”
If you are a spidey fan, you know this quote from Ben, which is so accurate.
To own the power within requires that you be responsible for maintaining it, which involves the work of being aware of your inner compass.
Many times we go blindly with our reactions due to not being aware of our inner turmoil. You need to check-in to know where you are to see the next step to take.
What is going on inside reflects out in how we perceive externally.
Honesty is a space where we open up and flourish as we are aware of exactly where we are and what tools we have access to continue on the journey.

You are worth a check-in today.

Breathe and Feel

93087127_10157977675871421_7329370641335844864_o.jpg

Presently every opinion, theory, debate or argument is out there for the choosing to fuel the fear more.
Who and what to trust? One will say one thing, yet their actions go against it while another will implement rules, yet they do not apply for them.
Recognize when you are in fear/anxiety and intake information, it can become an overload for the brain. It will fixate more on finding fault then seeing the whole picture. It will find the things that will enforce the "my story" to find safety.
Be aware when you are spinning out so you can meet it with breathing and feeling to release the energy tension of overloaded thoughts.

These are highly sensitive times that require self-awareness of what is needed to remain calm and have the clarity to make decisions that are right at that moment. Show up as your best, which is different from moment to moment and remember you will be making mistakes; that is what learning is. Therefore, be honest, kind, and accountable to reconnect with loving-kindness.
Breath and Feel.

How can I be 10% better today

Imagine if we decided to commit individually to be 10% better than yesterday how changed the world would be.

What that 10% will look like is different for each of us.
Some it may be to rest, others to exercise, some not to yell, others to speak up, some to be playful, others to read, some to ask for support, others to offer support, some to drink water, others to dance. Recognize you have to go within and ask this question outside of comparing, outside of looking for faults. This 10% is about supporting the need you have and meeting it, which will then raise your level of being better.
Doing introspection refines your ability to discern needs vs wants. With all the changes occurring, I hope you have been evaluating this question for yourself.
It’s not looking for the faults; it’s what is that need how it can I support it and apply that answer to action.

We can talk and think up an excellent game plan, yet without application, it’s merely a story you told yourself that was never experienced.
Be the change you are looking for in the world.
Go within and search where you can be 10% better and apply action to that answer.
You deserve your own investment.
Together we will Thrive.

Challenges are changes

92661520_10157969342651421_2901326128721428480_o.jpg

The challenges we are experiencing is the discovery of seeing the Truth of our denial. Finding fault in others will not serve you; instead, heighten your refusal to look within and be better by 10%. To be vigilant in remaining awake requires you to breathe and feel. Let me tell you that it is WORK towards a healthy state and that work is worth your investment.

For me, this feels like Déjà vu/PTSD to what I have been experiencing for the past 6 years. I hit rock bottom, losing all certainty, which brought forth many challenges, yet in each one of them, I thrived a little more and a little more.
What I know to be true is challenges bring forth new growth that will require you to evaluate yourself time and time again. To be honest in seeing your part in the chaos and making decisions that will strengthen harmony.
Challenges are changes, and as a creature of habit, we dislike change because that means we are moving out of our perceived comfort of certainty.
Ask yourself how you can be 10% better today than put that answer into action.
Let's use and lean on our diversity to create harmony.
Breathe, you need to breathe through challenges to have the clarity to make decisions.

Becoming self-aware requires introspection

92966755_10157965379641421_2026603605930278912_o.jpg

Becoming self-aware requires introspection, and once you take a peek of what is going on internally, you are aware of how thoughts can encourage or attack you depending on how you identify with them.
The way I refer to an enemy is not in refusal and the fighting way; instead, it's one of recognizing it has been misaligned because of the over personalizing and interpretation of experiences.
If you have a root identity that signals a message of "you are not good enough" or "you do not belong" or "you are bad" or "you are unsafe," then the mind finds the experiences to validate this belief of identity.
It becomes a type of self-attack.
Logically you would not think you would do this to yourself; however, once you go within and observe, you see differently.

A mind is a powerful tool we have access too yet it also requires that you do daily clean up.
Meditation is a tool that assists you in integrating and sweeping away all the processing that has been done by the mind.
Being mindful in your interactions allows space between thoughts, so you are present to see and not blindly automated.
Loving-kindness is the antidote for fear.
You have to remind yourself that this is an impermanent world and that matter changes, yet with this knowledge, you are safe to appreciate and serve what is here now.

Owning the responsibility of power

92722317_10157962040571421_6193107614063132672_o.jpg

Owning the responsibility of power is being informed by applying that information to the direct experience.

Know the value you possess is Health, and your birthright is Worth.
Yet for many years, I had been strayed away with the world's constant messages of being busy, needing to earn, you're not good enough, something is wrong with you.
Please recognize that you have all you need within, and time allows these tools to be refined and developed with the application of information.
There is a difference between seeking information so you may apply it to the direct experience and one of hoarding and gathering information becoming bogged down with overload.

Be empowered by being informed with what serves you so you may be of service to others in supporting health for the collective.
Together we will Thrive.

Laughter is a portal to open us up

92579633_10157957939376421_4067417536361136128_o.jpg

Laughter is a portal to open us up in oneness and keeps us healthy.
When our hearts are closed because of the fear of pain, we can forget to use this powerful tool to open it up.
Laughter loosens up the spaces you have taken too personal, which blinds you from being willing to see things differently.
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
Laughter helps me in remembering this.
If your taking yourself seriously laugh at yourself to lose up that stuffy space.
We are experiencing serious subject matters yet we as a person do not have to be serious to implement the solutions in creating harmony with unity.
Let laughter send ripple effects to comfort those that are grieving and in pain.
Together we will thrive.

Remember you keep safe by remaining healthy.
Stay healthy folks!
Calm that nervous system.

Isolation when used as a Self-Care tool

92647699_10157954632651421_8819002845916299264_n.jpg

Isolation is something that is forced upon, yet you still have the power of choice in how you will use this space.

These are challenging times for everyone in different ways, and to not project that fear outwardly takes strength and not inflict self-harm requires compassion. Suffering is a path that allows you to find the root by questioning and exploring the answers so you may rise above this type of crucifixion that is being inflicted by the fear. Rising above allows you to have a birds-eye to see things with clarity of a more comprehensive broader picture. You become to discover "I do not know" is a powerful space to be in of understanding some questions cannot be answered as experience is needed for an internal knowing.
Isolation brings you into a connection with spirituality in a direct way that can feel overwhelming.
The nervous system is what needs to be relaxed as it is reacting in exaggerating the fear as a method to protect you.

Ask yourself, what is the need that is not being met?
What are these emotions surfacing, and what are they trying to show me?
What are the lies and illusion that I cannot see about myself and others?

Recognize the need is usually to breathe, so you may go inwardly to connect with the dimension that connects us all which will reveal the solutions and possibilities needed for action.

Some may view the caterpillar as choosing solitude, yet it is isolation as it needs the chrysalis to allow the metamorphosis of the butterfly.
Together we will thrive.

What is it that you truly want in your heart?

92575376_10157950878681421_4280812561261133824_o.jpg

Someone asked me this question yesterday, and it had me stop and reflect on the resistance I was still holding on to with the parenting role.
Fear of shame
Fear of guilt
Fear of past failures
Fear of pain
Fear of full acceptance
Fear of kindness towards myself
The fear uses the parenting role as a way to push me into thinking I need to hide the things I have considered unacceptable in myself.
When I sat and reflected on this fear, my heart opened up, showing me the resilience I have gained from all of those things I fear to reveal.
I recognized that suffering is a gift to share with others to appreciate what they have, which is life. There is so much abundance that surrounds you, which starts within you.

Past experiences have an emotional charge, and this energy becomes stuck in the body, creating looping thoughts of attack and defend.
From what I experienced in self-healing, trauma is an emotional charge you're afraid to go into to discharge. The root is fear sparking avoidance and denial towards acceptance of simply seeing outside of the identity that was created for protection.
When the mind is open you clearly see that everything can be used in such loving-kind ways. You can see the identity you have placed around the experiences and sensations of the experience, which becomes suppressed energy blocking you from Truth.
Meditation allows you to go into the nervous system to do that discharge and see from the inside out.

What is it that you truly want in your heart?
Asking this question keeps you accountable towards yourself.
We can get caught up living our lives for others' dreams or aspirations; meanwhile, we have done nothing for ourselves.
Take a moment to sit in silence and ponder this question.
As simple as it may seem, the challenging part is with the answer, just be it and apply in everyday interactions.
Kind honesty discharges the emotional charge so you can start from here now and not in the illusion of then there.
Follow the answers your heart gives.

Transcend to Transform

92258836_10157943579661421_8743455204403314688_o.jpg

There is electrifying energy in fear, which is either used in reaction or response, having too much of it drains the energy center.
Fear is a healthy function that the nervous system guides us with; what is unhealthy are the fearful thoughts you keep injecting into this system.
These thoughts are due to beliefs and definitions you have created around identity. Self-awareness allows you to engage with fear by witnessing what is activating it.

Transcending the fear is having the ability to go through it by using its energy to propel you into honesty, curiosity and learning where transformation emerges.
The visual I use for fear is a horse; you either let it drag you behind it on the ground, getting bruised and banged, not having a clear view.
Or you learn to ride it with a clear view, although you feel the shocks from riding the horse, you discover the rhythm to ride with it and enjoy the rush.
Either way, you are still moving forward; one is more enjoyable than the other.
Life has a continual flow of change and uncertainty, and know that you have a natural ability to adapt continuously.

FYI
All this COVID information overload has the nervous system going BONKERS because its function is not to die, by feeding it, continuous information you're weakening your immune system, which you need for this virus.
Be mindful of how you are engaging with fear; there is a difference between being informed and having information overload.

Mortality

This virus has awoken us to our mortality and becoming aware of questioning and seeing the dysfunction.
Mortality was here before becoming aware of this virus, which you may not have allowed yourself to see.
The anxiety you may be experiencing is becoming aware of your mortality in which the nervous system becomes very activated as its only function is not to die.
Use these moments to discover what kind of life you want to be alive in living.
What have you made a priority that was not there before, and what is having you enjoy life? Create more of that and build on it.
I faced significant hardship 6 years ago and released so many attachments, which was a challenging detox.
What I can say is the most painful moments in my life served me in ways I could not understand then, yet at this moment, it all makes sense.
Resilience is grown in pain and/or challenges.
Keeping your heart open without armour is your superpower in navigating this world, which some call vulnerability.
Be open to receiving the possibilities that are always there; you simply need to have an open mind to see them.

Having a mindset to see that life is for us in leading us to harmony.

What is for your good does not mean you will get it in the way you want it.

I live in uncertainty daily as I am a fool who does not know how the winds will blow, yet I remain open to experiencing them.

Have reverence for your mortality and enjoy sharing it.
Together we will thrive.
Remain Healthy.

Health

91922306_10157933577261421_2656878911178145792_o.jpg

other is lost.
The language we all share is health and the action we give is love.
We live in a biodome that is interconnected, with health being its primary language. We are now placing our energies towards health and beginning to realize how misinformed and co-dependant we have become.
I am not a medical practitioner, nor am I giving any medical advice.
I'm speaking from my own experience of almost dying 6 years ago and connecting back with health and love.
Unfortunately, health has not been educated in the way of self-responsibility.
We do not have a health care system; it's a medical system that has health care workers, and people are becoming aware of how misinformed they are with health and self-responsibility.
Our bodies have an immune system that has a sophisticated intelligence to protect it from foreign substances; unfortunately, we have been misguided with supporting it.
Our thoughts towards ourselves are one of the most potent energies that weaken the immune system by signalling the nervous system with stress and flooding the body with cortisol.

Whatever you are feeling, use loving-kindness to guide you in connection with love and health. Right now is not a time to blame or finding fault; this is a moment of solutions to protect the collective as a whole.
Your immune system is the most powerful thing you can utilize.
Mortality is what enables us to have reverence for life by enjoying it.

Retreat into yourself and reconnect to a higher frequency of energy.
Together we will thrive.

Loving-Kindness

91677113_10157929640251421_1700607350416605184_o.jpg

When you become angry, frustrated or sad, how kind are towards yourself or others?
It can feel very foreign to be loving and kind towards ourselves when big emotions arise, yet the breath opens up space for us to inject the antidote of loving-kindness to the fear.

The majority of our thoughts are toxic, and the way we apply them towards ourselves is harmful.

Be aware that you are not your thoughts and transcend the habitual patterns with loving-kindness.

Meditation is a practice that assists with this antidote.

Tears

91320759_10157922351896421_7125236369084907520_o.jpg

Allowing tears to fall naturally enables the heart to open up and for vulnerability to reveal the intensity of the energy within you.
Tears are a method of expression that our multi-sensory uses to signal an intense excitement that you have been suppressing to acknowledge.
Our sensories interpret so much from the brain, which can create a conflicting overload, and the tears are a method to release the pressure to reveal what needs to be seen that you are suppressing and not feeling.
There is a false narrative attached to tears, that they represent sadness and considered weak, which is incorrect. This narrative has created a highly lethal malignancy in humans, especially with males.
Tears hold all expressions of emotions and are only for the person expressing them to interpret.

When we were young, we saw this world the correct way that it was insane, yet slowly, we adapted to the method of thinking this was the right way.
Tears are a method to signal you back to the sanity of Truth.
Resisting is a survival instinct and disconnects you from your empowerment of vulnerability and acceptance to adapt in change.
Why do we resist tears or the sensation is because we have these past experiences that defined this method of expression or feeling as dangerous due to the way others reacted when witnessing them or how we treated ourselves.
The tears and sensation also connect you back into the way you saw when you were younger, which you do not trust.
Allow the tears to fall, and the only person you ought to be concerned about judging you is yourself.
Be kind and compassionate to allow yourself to feel without analyzing or labelling the sensation; this will lead you to have clarity for seeing.

Tears are healthy and needed to navigate this world.
In these uncertain moments, tears are empowering.

How am I remaining Healthy?

91415448_10157911258566421_7912267543866245120_o.jpg

The most valuable possession you have is your HEALTH.
Sustaining your health is a responsibility you do not want to give to another. Make mindful choices towards your health.
What you put in is what you get to use and share with others.

Be mindful of what you are intaking into your system; it has a significant impact on your wellbeing.
I'm not speaking only food; it's environments, the conversations, what you read, watch, listen to, and thoughts you believe.

Be gentle and kind to yourself so you can spread it around. 💜

Normalization

91203821_10157907589531421_5673385110611689472_o.jpg

There is a dense feeling of discomfort as choices and options have been removed for the collective to remain healthy, yet in these choices, people are suffering.
I can understand that staying home has not been the norm, yet here we are in retreat with ourselves while protecting each other.
When change and challenges present themselves, it can feel more comfortable to dissociate than to lean in to find the solutions with change. Being self-aware is ensuring you are awake to the choices and actions you take. You have to go within regularly to question if you are informed and not just going with what is told or "the norm."

Are you using the question "Why am I doing this?"
Be aware of the trappings of NORMALIZATION.
Stay awake by questioning what is the healthiest choice and put action to those answers.
At times the action is to do nothing externally while doing plenty internally.
Together we can thrive.
